I admit it, I don't come by very often. I tend to post GI Joe related stuff here and then 'normal' stuff on MySpace, which I don't frequent very often. So here's an update.
I started going to Bellingham Technical College (BTC) Winter quarter. I took Math100, Psyche111 and a Computer course. All are mandatory for ALL degrees. Well, the quarter just finished up today for me.
I got a 95% in Math100. That'd be an A. Right down the middle! The test I took last Wednesday, I got an 88% because I made some dumb errors. But on the final, I got 100%. That is very unusual for me because I don't "ACE" tests. Sure, the test seemed easier than I thought and you know when that happens, 'you' usually end up with a crap score! Well, the test was easy for me and it all worked out. I'm quite pleased.
The way this math was taught was soooooo incredibly different than what I grew up. I remember memorizing geometric formulas and alegrba stuff. But here, it was taught so differently, that it was easy for me. I had to unlearn a lot and it's bizarre that so much can be done on the calculator. Good thing I was married for a time and had Kody around to help bring back some of the math stuff.
Psyche111 - Interpersonal Relations. I rather enjoyed this class. The group project we got an A on. The final score was 183 out of 200 points. I would've liked it to be in the 190s but oh well. I got a 98% on the final (1% better than the midterm) which set me up for around a 93% grade score. That'd be an A too. Wait, 95%? Either way, I did good.
As for the Computer course, I don't know. I should probably take a 1-day Excel class to get things under control cuz that program was rather hard for me to grasp.
Technically, it's Spring Break now but that doesn't mean anything. I still go to work. I still hang with the kids on the weekend.
That's about it for now.
